SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agriculture. Method for keeping parent poultry flocks comprises poultry keeping in a cell battery in controlled light mode and two-time feeding, coinciding with poultry activity peaks, disabling and enabling daylighting, wherein during the productive period of the bird's age, after 2 hours of daylight and after its disconnection, red light is switched on for period of 4–12 hours depending on the age of the bird and the duration of the day's light, and then after switching off, the daylight is switched on for 2 hours.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase productivity of chickens of parent stock due to increased sexual activity.
