FIELD: poultry farming.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to poultry farming, in particular, to increase in egg production of laying hens. Method involves keeping laying hens in cage batteries in a lighting mode providing for changing the time of switching on and off the lighting according to circadian rhythms of egg-laying by 45 minutes before the previous time of switching on and off the lighting. From 18th week of life, laying hens are kept with daily variation of the time of switching on and off the lighting to create a conditional day equal to 23 hours 15 minutes.
EFFECT: invention usage will allow to increase laying hens egg-laying capacity.
