FIELD: wireless communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless data transmission, particularly for transmitting data between a sensor system and a receiver capable of receiving analyte values sensed by the sensor system during continuous monitoring of the analyte. Method of transmitting data is characterized by the fact that a mating mode is set for the system; receiving, by a receiver, a first data packet transmitted by the sensor system in a broadcasting mode and containing first status data indicating the status of the device and/or the status of the analyte value; and processing first status data by receiver controller. When determining, based on the results of said processing, that the status of the device and/or the status of the analyte value is critical, a conjugated operating mode is established for the system. A communication channel is installed between the sensor system and the receiver and a second data packet transmitted by the sensor system and containing one or more analyte values is received by the receiver.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method for wireless data transmission between a sensor system and a receiver, a system for wireless data transmission and a computer program product.
