Portable device comprises: a data interface device configured to receive a stream of continuous monitoring data from a sensor device provided with a body-wearable sensor, and a control device operably coupled for communication with the data interface device and configured to: control a setup mode comprising setting configuration parameters for a data collection and processing mode and processing continuous monitoring data, after completion of operation in the first mode of launching the tuning mode in response to reception of the trigger signal, the control device switches from the first mode of operation to the second mode of operation, including the mode of data collection and processing and blocking of any subsequent start of the adjustment mode during the time of the use of the sensor.
EFFECT: high reliability of collecting and processing data of continuous monitoring of analyte content in physiological fluid.
