FIELD: safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to safety devices and can be used in personal inspection, luggage and correspondence monitoring. Essence: hand-held detector with wireless transmission and reception of data comprises an electronic circuit of a metal detector, a display circuit, a unit for detecting nuclear and radioactive materials and/or a unit for detecting vapors of explosive substances and drugs, operating jointly or independently of each other and from an electronic circuit of a metal detector, transceiver device, which provides transmission and reception of data over the encrypted wireless radio channel. Transceiving device is made separately from the electronic scheme of the metal detector. Communication between the transceiver and the electronic circuit of the detector is carried out through any physical interface or through input/output ports. Either transmitter-receiver device can be included in a single electronic circuit of a metal detector, in which a microcontroller is used with possibility of wireless transmission and reception of data. Through the transceiving device, remote control and adjustment of the metal detector is performed, including change of operating modes, prohibition of making changes by the operator. Data with technical parameters, modes and events of the nuclear and radioactive materials detection circuit are transmitted via a wireless channel to a remote transceiver. Indication circuit employs sound, visual, tactile alarms, their various combinations, a remote transceiver device, through which remote control and adjustment of said blocks is made.
EFFECT: technical result is improved quality and reliability of inspection due to reduced probability of errors or unlawful actions of operator during adjustment and control of metal detector, as well as due to monitoring of operating parameters of device.
