FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of aircraft and can be used for homing to ground target by its radio emission. Method for homing to ground target includes two-dimensional direction finding, determination of mismatch between direction to it and direction of flight and trajectory control of flight by compensation of mismatch, wherein measuring systems are coordinated between each other and with control planes. Additionally and synchronously with direction finding coordinates and orientation angles of the aircraft are measured, as per totality of these measurements during the guidance and two-dimensional bearings determining the coordinates of the target, from which the current direction is specified, and subsequent trajectory control of flight is carried out by refined direction to target. Coordination of measuring systems between each other and with control planes is performed by conversion of measurement coordinate systems taking into account aircraft orientation angles and with preliminary determination of measurement results in form of components of measurement vectors.
EFFECT: high accuracy of aiming at a target.
