FIELD: enrichment of minerals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to enrichment of minerals, particularly, to apparatus for extracting fine gold from clay gold-bearing rocks. Method of vacuum disintegration of gold-bearing clay rocks includes pulse high-speed evacuation for not more than 1 second with pressure in working chamber of 0.4 kPa and subsequent reduction to 13 Pa for not more than 10 seconds at operating pump. Rock is held under vacuum for 20 seconds, then during 20 seconds the atmosphere is released, the rock is held at atmospheric pressure for 20 seconds, then the pump-out cycle is repeated until the rock freezes. Clay rock has flat shape with layer thickness of 1–5 cm and transverse size exceeding thickness by 5–30 times. Number of cycles depends on thickness of layer of clay rock and ranges from 2 for thickness of 1 cm to 10 for thickness of 5 cm.
EFFECT: method increases output of ultrafine particles of precious metals.
