FIELD: foundry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry production and can be used in making cast bar billets from nickel-based heat-resistant alloys produced by special metallurgy. Liquid-propellant self-hardening mixture is poured into the molding box with a pre-installed model and dried in the furnace for at least 7 hours according to a mode which includes raising temperature to 200–300 °C, holding and cooling with the furnace. After removal of model entire surface of hardened mixture is coated with anti-stick paint. Opencast is installed on the steel base, and between the base and hardened mixture form a gate for siphon filling of the obtained casting alloy. Mold is cast by alloy by siphon in vacuum by siphon method.

EFFECT: production of casting bar with diameter of 20–50 mm, length of 150–250 mm of required quality.
