FIELD: foundry production.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of foundry production. The method for manufacturing foundry ceramic shell molds in the production of castings for smelted models from heat-resistant alloys includes the production of a model block to be melted, applying a refractory coating on it in the form of a front and subsequent layers of refractory suspensions, sprinkling each layer with granular white electrocorundum, layer-by-layer drying, removing models, calcining the mold. In hard-to-reach areas of the mold: narrow and extended channels, pockets, blind wells, etc., fill rods are formed from a liquid-filling self-hardening mixture containing, by wt. %: a refractory filler: granular white electrocorundum 0.01 – 22, a powdered hardener: magnesium oxide 3-8, a suspension of subsequent layers based on a highly alkaline water-colloidal binder being the rest. Hard-to-reach areas with vibration application are filled both on the model before it is placed in the model block, and after applying and drying at least one front layer of the mold.

EFFECT: invention ensures the production of dense and durable casting rods in hard-to-reach areas of the mold, improving the quality of the castings obtained.
