SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automotive industry. Pneumatic tire (1) comprises: central main groove (21) passing in direction along tire circumference; central running section (11) limited by central main groove (21); second running section (12) located adjacent to central running section (11) across central main groove (21), and second ground engaging groove (45) extending from central main groove (21) to second cross-section (12) in transverse direction tire and limiting second running section (12) together with central main groove (21). Central main groove (21) includes central side edge section (31) corresponding to edge section (30) on sidewall of central running section (11). Central side edge section (31) includes curved section (35) formed by bending outward in direction of width of central main groove (21) with sharp angle (θ) of bend. Second ground engaging groove (45) includes open section (46) in the central main groove (21) connected to the central main groove (21) in the position opposite to curved section (35).
EFFECT: technical result is improved performance in driving on snow and stability of steering control.
