FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: use for instant analysis of elemental composition of water and aqueous solutions based on the method of emission spectral analysis. Essence of the invention lies in the fact that an mobile device for determining impurities in water and aqueous solutions comprises an electric arc plasma burner, a housing, a ventilation system located therein, spectrometer, reflecting and focusing system, console, adjustable platform for attachment of spectrometer, as well as reflecting and focusing system, wherein the vapor-liquid burner with the arc discharge excitation function in the built-in electrode assembly at the pressure of the plasma-forming medium exceeding the atmospheric pressure is equipped with a filling tank for the plasma-forming liquid, note here that plasma jet, which is source of analyzed radiation, is formed beyond outlet nozzle of plasma burner.
EFFECT: high sensitivity, as well as broader functional capabilities.
