SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for analyzing the elemental composition of substances. Method for determining of the liquid droplets elemental composition includes: excitation of the plasma discharge, delivery of the analyzed liquid particles to the discharge zone, registration and processing of the analyzed liquid radiation spectra, wherein the plasma discharge excitation is carried out at atmospheric pressure, the main charge carriers in the plasma are electrons generated by the plasma torch cathode or some other source of charged elementary particles.

EFFECT: technical result consists in simplifying of the liquid elemental composition spectral diagnostics implementation and the possibility of measurements implementation outside the laboratory conditions.
