METHOD OF PRODUCING EXPLOSIVE NANOSTRUCTURED MATERIAL Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC C06B21/00 B82B1/00

Abstract RU 2715195 C1

FIELD: blasting operations.

SUBSTANCE: method of producing nanostructured explosive material involves placing a weight of a powdered explosive from a group of individual nitrogen-containing organic explosives having a vapoury of not less than 10-5 Pa, into a crucible with a cover having a conical inner cavity, in the center of which there is an axial through hole, subliming of a charge of explosives at temperature of 80–180 °C and vacuum and deposition of sublimated explosive on substrate at residual pressure (10-3–10-2) Pa in form of a layer of polycrystalline particles. In the direction of flow of sublimated particles of explosive substance, a screen in the form of a disk with an annular through slot is installed on the substrate. Substrate is installed on support with possibility of its rotation around central axis, and axis of rotation of substrate is installed with eccentricity (Δ). Produced layer of explosive is mechanically separated from substrate and mechanically ground to specified value of specific surface of particles of explosive to produce nanocrystalline powder material for subsequent formation of explosive charge.

EFFECT: method enables to obtain nanostructured explosive material with high detonation capacity and enables to control the process of recrystallisation of an explosive substance to obtain particles whose size is in the range of less than 1 mcm.
