FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to removal of deposits of hardness salts and can be used for chemical cleaning of surfaces, including heating surfaces of heat exchange equipment. Described is a composition for removing deposits of hardness salts from a solid surface, containing hydrochloric acid, an ester of orthophosphoric acid, in form of a substance selected from tricresyl phosphate, trichloroethylphosphate, triphenyl phosphate and trichloropropyl phosphate, acidic inhibitor, which is a substance selected from triethanolamine, dimethylethanolamine, triethylamine, diethylethanolamine, diisopropylethylamine and diisopropylethanolamine, a nonionic surfactant, containing a mixture of isoalkyl esters of polyethylene glycol with number of repeating units [CH2-CH2-O] from 5 to 25 – isopropyl ether of polyethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol isobutyl ether or polyethylene glycol isopentyl ether or in form of polyoxyethylene tridecyl ether (tridecyl ether of polyethylene glycol) tridecyl ether with number of repeating units [CH2-CH2-O] – 18 and water, which is characterized by the following ratio of components, wt%: hydrochloric acid –15.0–45.0; orthophosphoric acid ester – 5.0–25.0; acidic inhibitor – 5.0–20.0; nonionic surfactant – 0.5–4.0; water – balance. Also described is a version of the composition for removing deposits of hardness salts from a hard surface.
EFFECT: high rate of dissolving salt deposits when using a solid surface treatment composition.
