FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition of epoxy resin, a prepreg and a composite material which can be used in aerospace industry or for production of sports goods. Epoxy resin composition contains at least one component [A] selected from a group of a glycidyl compound of 2,2'-biphenol, 2,2'-dihydroxydiphenyl methane, 2,2'-methylene-bis (4-methylphenol), 2,2'-isopropylidendiphenol, 2,2'-ododiphenol and 2,2'-oxydiphenol, or a glycidyl compound of 2-aminophenol; at least one component [B] selected from a group consisting of thermoplastic resins which are compatible with [A], or core-shell polymers; at least one component [C], which is an amine curing agent. Component [A] ranges from 15 to 70 parts by weight with respect to the total amount of epoxy resin. Prepreg is obtained by impregnating reinforcing fibre of said composition. Composite material reinforced with fibres is obtained by hardening said prepreg. Composite material comprises material of cured epoxy resin obtained by curing epoxy resin composition and reinforcing fibre.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a cured composition which has a high modulus of elasticity and high nominal compression deformation at breakage, as well as a composite material having excellent compression strength and interlayer rigidity.
