FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to antenna measurements and can be used in development, production of antenna-feeder devices (AFD) and their operation, including for control of polarization characteristics of irradiators of mirror antennae. Device for determination of EC elements of feeder consists of mutually connected by means of rotating joint of transmitting and receiving channels. Transmitting path comprises serially connected control signal generator, first calibrated coaxial-waveguide junction, first polarization selector and first polarizer. Receiving path comprises series-connected second polarizer, second polarization selector, second calibrated coaxial-waveguide junction, measuring receiver, unit of maximum search and computer.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of measurement of coefficient of ellipticity (EC) AFD with polarization, close to circular polarization, reduction of labor costs and simplification of measurement procedures.
