FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of contact plates of current collectors. Mixture of powders of copper, iron and nickel is granulated in a mixer providing temperature in the mixing zone not higher than 20–25 °C, with introduction of a hydrocarbon binder sublimated after pressing at 600 °C before sintering or at its beginning. Impregnation is carried out with antifriction composition, with following ratio of components in plate after impregnation, wt. %: copper 18–30, nickel to 10, antifriction composition 25–40, iron is balance.
EFFECT: higher wear resistance and increased amount of introduced antifriction composition.
