FIELD: medicine; instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical instrument-making, particularly, to hardware and software complexes for visualizing the structure of biological tissues and organs by infrared transillumination. Infrared sensor for a hardware-software system for infrared transillumination of oral tissues comprises a radiation source in the form of a laser diode installed in the housing of the infrared sensor, configured to connect and adjust radiation power to the laser diode power supply unit, microcomputers configured to communicate with a personal computer and connected to two video cameras, oppositely mounted on the side fins of the U-shaped tip head detachably mounted on the housing of the infrared sensor, at that, opposite each video camera optical prism is installed, optical prisms are connected through fiber-optic elements and a lighting direction switch installed in the housing of the infrared sensor with the radiation source, detachable tip is sterilisable and is equipped with a replaceable sterilized nozzle from a set of sterilized nozzles adapted for different types of teeth, body of which is configured to be fixed by projections and mating recesses on the body of the infrared sensor, note here that detachable sterilized nozzle is provided with fixing element in form of technological ledge arranged at tooth contact point to fix infrared sensor during patient examination.
EFFECT: using the invention enables providing more accurate detection of inflammation centers and diagnosing the state of soft and hard oral tissues.
