FIELD: ecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for remote environmental investigations of water areas and can be used for assessment of parameters of oil or oil product spills in coastal waters, for prediction of spill distribution of oil or oil products. Essence: water area is surveyed over zone of oil or oil products spill by means of thermal imager and fluorimeter installed on unmanned aerial vehicle. Parameters of oil or oil products spill are assessed. A forecast of distribution of oil or oil products spill is created for short-term or long-term period of time. Forecast maps are constructed. Predictive maps in the form of telemetric information are transmitted to crew or groundless boats, which deploy in the area of detected contamination booms and carry out subsequent collection of oil or oil products.
EFFECT: technical result is higher information value and reliability, wider range of solved tasks.
