FIELD: physics; chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analysis of non-biological materials by physical and chemical methods and can be used in solving problems of chemical reconnaissance and (or) environmental monitoring on objects of domestic, industrial and special purposes. Method consists in that when determining the mass concentration of the substances form a system of control of substances in aqueous solutions, test gas sensing elements, sampling is carried out and the measured concentration of the saturated vapour. Method includes gas analysis of vapours of substances evaporated above water surface, in accordance with their composition and concentrations in solution, forming equation of connection of analytical signal with concentration of target substances in vapour phase and calculating content of substances dissolved in water.

EFFECT: higher sensitivity, faster operation, selectivity, reliability of monitoring, as well as specificity, compactness and absence of additional consumables due to possibility of concentration measurement of substance diffusing from solution through phase interface with pressure of saturated vapour, which depends on concentration of substance in solution and temperature of solution.
