FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, traumatology, combustiology, and can be used for treating wounds and burns. That is ensured by exposure to wounds and burns with a plasma beam using a plasma generator. Air-plasma treatment of the wound surface is performed with a pulse plasma beam of atmospheric pressure with diameter of up to 10 mm. Pulse length makes 300–500 ns. Pulses follow with interval of 20–50 mcs. Scanning speed of plasma beam is 10–20 mm/s at average current of 40–90 mcA. Nanofilm of a coagulated protein of wound exudate is formed on the wound surface.

EFFECT: invention allows accelerating processes of wound and burn healing, reducing rate of complications of wound process and recovering skin in patients.
