FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric engineering, namely to the method of manufacturing of positive electrodes of primary chemical current sources. Method of billets manufacturing of positive electrode of cylindrical chemical current sources includes preparation of briquettes of active mass from a mixture of manganese dioxide, carbon of technical and fluoroplastic suspension, holding briquettes of active mass in a solvent gasoline, rolling briquettes into a tape on molding rolls when supplying compressed air, cutting, holding a control sample in the electrical cabinet for 5–10 minutes at temperature of 100–140 °C, as well as weight weighing , measurement of width and thickness of the active sample mass of the control sample, comparison with the specified parameters, the active mass tape on the bobbin for the bobbin formation with the active mass tape, the bobbin holding in the fume cupping unit for not less than 18 hours, forming of bobbin of electrode tape of two active mass bands and metal band between them on molding rolls, rolling of electrode tape, control of thickness of blanks, cutting of workpieces of electrode, control of thickness of blanks, drying of workpieces of electrode at temperature of 110–150 °C, heat treatment of workpieces at temperature of 200–240 °C, cutting of workpieces of electrode.

EFFECT: high density of the active mass of the positive electrode while maintaining given electrical and mechanical characteristics is the technical result of the disclosed method.
