FIELD: physical chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for manufacturing positive electrodes of primary chemical current sources. The method includes the preparation of briquettes of active mass, holding briquettes of active mass in oil solvent, rolling briquettes into a tape on molding rolls, drying on a drum at a temperature of +90 to +110°С, winding the active mass tape on a spool to form a bobbin with an active mass tape, holding the bobbin for at least 24 hours under a hood, completing the active mass bobbins in pairs, while the total thickness of the two average thicknesses of the active mass tapes should be (1.00±1.6) mm, rolling of active mass tapes between rolls with a collector tape installed in the middle to obtain an electrode tape with a thickness of 0.90 to 1.2 mm, then the electrode tape is cut into blanks of the required size, the electrode blanks are installed on the end in a pallet, the blanks are heat-treated in a drying cabinet at a temperature of 240 to 260°С for 20÷40 minutes.

EFFECT: implementation of constant monitoring of the parameters of the electrode blanks, which makes it possible to produce blanks with precisely defined geometric, electrical and mechanical characteristics.
