FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for treating recurrent erosion of cornea of various origins. That is ensured by installing a soft contact lens (SCL) from the first day of treatment, with subsequent replacement every 6–7 days, instillation of picloxidine hydrochloride 0.05 %, dexpanthenol 5 % and Balarpan-H 0.01 % 2 drops 4 times on the day of each preparation, with interval of 5–7 minutes. Additionally, from the first day of treatment, a solution consisting of 1 ml of Oftan Dexamethasone diluted in 10 ml of ophtholique is instilled in a descending pattern: 1st week – 4 times a day, 2nd week – 3 times a day, 3rd week – 2 times a day, 4th week – once a day. SCL and introduction of piclosidine hydrochloride 0.05 %, Balarpan-H 0.01 % and dexpanthenol 5 % are performed until complete corneal epithelisation.
EFFECT: method provides reducing the length of treatment, prolonging the remission of the disease preventing the recurrence of chronic epithelial defects by improving the regeneration of the corneal epithelial defects.
