FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: antimicrobial ophthalmic drops are pre-instilled into the patient's conjunctival cavity; the above drops are either 0.05% picloxydine hydrochloride, or 0.01% benzyl dimethyl ammonium chloride monohydrate, or 20-30% sulphacetamide, or 0.019% carbetopendicinium bromide; there is also used the corneoprotective reparative agent, which is presented by either 5% dexpanthenol, 20% deproteinised dialysate of calf blood, or 0.01% Balarpan-N in a dose of 2 drops of each medicinal product 4 times a day. An instillation gap makes 5-10 minutes. A soft contact lens is inserted on the cornea from the first day of treatment; before placing, then inner surface of the soft contact lens is coated with the Spherogel biological matrix to be changed every 4-6 days. The whole therapeutic course makes 28 days; the number of the courses is from one to three.
