METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF THROMBOSIS PATIENTS, WITH VEIN INVOLVEMENT IN ILIAC-CAVA AND FEMORAL SEGMENTS, USING BLOOD CLOT AND FOREIGN BODIES REMOVING DEVICE FROM VESSELS AND HOLLOW ORGANS - THROMBOEXTRACTOR (TREX) Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B17/00 A61B17/22

Abstract RU 2716510 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to vascular surgery. Common femoral vein is separated under spinal anaesthesia through mini-access in the inguinal region. Internal jugular vein is isolated under local anaesthesia. Jugular vein is punctured with an angiographic needle. Introducer is installed in the vein lumen on the diagnostic guide into the inferior vena cava. Cavography is performed. Introducer is removed. In the inferior vena cava, a thromboextractor (TREX) is positioned and opened on the entire passage of the inferior vena cava. That is followed by transverse venotomy of the common femoral vein. Fogarty catheter is inserted into the inferior vena cava through to TREX. Thrombectomy is performed from the uterine segment and the common femoral vein. Femoral, iliac and lower hollow veins are contrasted through a common femoral vein. If there are no residual thrombosis, the TREX device is folded and removed through an internal jugular vein. Venotomy of the common femoral vein is closed with synthetic suture 6/0. Haemostasis is performed. Drainage is installed into inguinal approach. Wounds are closed in layers.

EFFECT: method enables eliminating the risk of intraoperative thromboembolia of the pulmonary artery with open and semi-open thrombectomies from the iliac-cava venous segment.
