FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology, and concerns a method of reducing size of ischemic-reperfusion myocardial injury. That is ensured by administering quinacrine intravenously in dose of 5 mg/kg for 10 minutes starting a minute before myocardial reperfusion begins.
EFFECT: method enables reducing the size of ischemic-reperfusion myocardial injury by reducing the myocardial necrosis zone with intravenous administration of quinacrine.
