FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: cardiopulmonary bypass surgery for the aortic valve replacement involves at least three ischemic and reperfusion episodes on two lower extremities simultaneously in symmetrical regions. The ischemic and reperfusion episodes follow after an anaesthetic induction and precede preparing a surgical field with an anaesthetic solution.
EFFECT: method enables reducing the number of postoperative complications by improving the effective myocardial protection against ischemic and reperfusion injuries.
