METHOD OF TREATING CHRONIC GENERALIZED PERIODONTITIS OF MILD AND MODERATE SEVERITY Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61C1/00

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and is intended for use in treating chronic generalized periodontitis of mild and moderate severity. First, procedure for obtaining and ozonation of thrombocyte autoplasma consists in three stages: 1 – blood sampling from a patient's vein into a vacuum Plasmolifting™ test tube; 2 – blood centrifugation for the release of thrombocytic autoplasma from it; 3 – ozonation of thrombocyte autoplasma on ozonizer "Medozons". Then, the obtained ozone-activated plasma from the test tube is drawn into syringe with 30 G needle in amount of 5 ml and at angle of 45 degrees is introduced into a submucous layer of a transient fold on the upper and lower jaws, on each jaw, 10 pricks, at the point of one prick in 0.25 ml, creating depot by type of creeping infiltrate. Therapeutic course is 3 procedures with 10-day interval.

EFFECT: method enables reducing the periodontal inflammation in a short period of time and achieving longer remission.
