FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering, in particular to high-impedance broadband low-profile bases (EBG-structures or electromagnetic crystals) of radio-frequency antennae and antenna arrays for communication systems and radars, as well as to passive devices for suppression of in-circuit interferences in high-speed digital circuits. Low-profile broadband high-impedance magnetodielectric structure comprises a metal base, two floors of overlapping metal horizontal plates connected to the base by means of vertical metal bridges and separated between each other and base by layers of dielectric material. Structure includes tubes made of high-frequency ferrite, into which all bridges are completely placed.
EFFECT: broader frequency band, reduced intrastructural parasitic electromagnetic coupling, reduced height of the profile, reduced linear dimensions of structures to values less than or equal to central wavelength on both coordinates, which makes it possible to construct bases of multi-element flat scanned antenna arrays.
