FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a coil device for unwinding a flexible element from it, and in particular to a clamping element for detachably fixing the position of the telescopic handle relative to the body of the coil device. Coil device comprises housing forming first cylindrical passage passing through it in axial direction, and first recess arranged partially along length of first cylindrical passage. First recess passes in radial direction from axis of the first cylindrical pass for fastening by multiple walls from the housing, which are located in polygonal configuration around the axis. Coil device also comprises telescopic handle arranged to slide in first cylindrical passage and passing through first recess. Coil device comprises clamping element located in first recess and arranged around telescopic handle. Clamping element has outer circumference forming at least one convex part on it. Clamping element is rotatable about an axis between an un-fixed position, in which the convex portion is arranged outside the first recess for being outside of the housing, and a fixed position, in which the convex part is located inside the first recess and is jammed between the outer circumference of the telescopic handle and at least one near wall of the plurality of walls for fixing the position of the telescopic handle relative to the housing.
