FIELD: clip tape retainer production.

SUBSTANCE: invention is directed to the creation of a clip tape retainer suitable for fixing a clip tape wound on a clip spool, on a clip spool, for storing a clip tape wound on it, and to a clip spool assembly containing: a clip spool, a clip tape wound on the clip spool and the clip band retainer. The retainer (10; 210; 310; 410; 510; 610; 710) of the clip band is adapted for use with a clip band (CL) wound on a reel (CR) for clips; moreover, the clamp (10) of the clip tape is designed to prevent the clip tape (CL) from unwinding from the coil (CR) for clips. The clip band retainer (10) comprises at least one fastening part (12, 14) adapted for removably attaching the clip band retainer (10) to at least one corresponding part (102) of the clip coil (CR) mating in position along the outer rim (118, 120) of the spool (CR) for clips. The clip band retainer (10) further comprises a retaining portion (16) formed to be engaged with at least one corresponding portion (204) of the clip band (CL) wound on the clip spool (CR) so as to prevent at least measure the separation in the radial direction of the free end of the clip tape (CL) from the spool (CR) for clips.

EFFECT: fixing the free end of the clip band in one step by detachably attaching the clip band retainer in a selected position along the clip spool mating part, thus providing a quick and convenient method for fastening.
