FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely, to hardening processing of articles of additive production for increasing their tribological properties, and can be used in various fields of machine building for hardening of parts surfaces. Method for complex hardening treatment of article from titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V produced by additive production method includes electron-beam treatment of article in scanning mode by electron beam unfolded in line with length of 20–30 mm, wherein the electron beam scanning frequency is 100–400 Hz, the article is moved relative to the electron beam at rate of 15–20 mm/s, the electron beam current is 20–70 mA, then, the product is oxidized by heating it to 700±5 °C, isothermal holding for 4 hours and subsequent cooling of the article to room temperature.
EFFECT: method provides simultaneous increase of hardness and wear resistance (in conditions of dry friction of sliding) of items from titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V.
