FIELD: pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pump engineering and can be used in sugar industry for supply of beetroot to washing department of sugar refinery. Beet pump comprises casing with suction and discharge branch pipes and impeller cantilever mounted on shaft. Wheel consists of disks in the form of cones and bent blades. Coatings from resilient material is fitted on casing inner surface and surfaces of impeller. Wheel blade is made of composite material, which includes rubber-fabric shell and prefabricated carcass. Frame comprises a main portion in the form of a rigid structure and a shank in the form of a flexible structure. Rubber-fabric shell is evenly distributed throughout the entire volume of the assembled frame. Curvilinear grooves converge to the output of the curved blade are made on the shank along surface of rubber-fabric shell covered with elastic material. On the inner surface of the delivery branch pipe there are curvilinear grooves, the tangent of which has a clockwise direction, and the tangential curvilinear grooves on the shank has a counterclockwise direction. Curvature of the curvilinear grooves on the inner surface of the delivery branch pipe is made along a cycloid line as brachistochrone.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at maintenance of normalized power inputs during long-term operation in conditions of receipt of various concentrations of contaminants in the pressure branch pipe of the beet-pump by providing high-speed movement of particles of contaminants in cavities of curvilinear grooves of the branch pipe.
