FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to industrial thermal reactors for low-temperature processing of solid or liquid materials. Low temperature is understood to mean temperature suitable for biomass torrefaction technology (typically below 300–350 °C). Multiple-cavity furnace for heat treatment at temperature not higher than 350 °C contains supports, which are formed by flat discs attached to outer casing, wherein the re-grouting flanges are attached to mechanically welded modules forming the central shaft, wherein the rabbling teeth are welded to the corresponding rabbling flange, wherein all said elements are made of metal sheets or plates, wherein heating device comprises radiation heat exchanger with liquid heat carrier attached to side of each hearth, not in contact with material to be treated.
EFFECT: invention provides low-temperature processing of wastes or biomass carried out in multi-hearth furnace, with provision of optimal reduction of investment and production costs with simultaneous preservation of technical advantages.
