FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and discloses composite electrode materials with an improved structure which can be used in making lithium-ion batteries. Composite electrode material includes at least one active material, wherein active material is coated on surface with an artificial passive film (APF) in order to effectively prevent or reduce contact of electrolyte and active material, avoiding unnecessary absorption of lithium ions. Besides, outside the artificial passive film there is a middle layer and an external layer. Both the middle layer and the outer layer consist of a deformable electrolyte and a non-deformed electrolyte, but in different concentrations. Thus, improved ionic conductivity is achieved with reduced resistance to charge transfer and reduced amount of used organic solvent.
EFFECT: high safety of the lithium battery is the technical result of the invention.
