FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lithium battery and its electrode layer. Structure of lithium battery includes two battery units, in which two negative layers of active material face each other. Negative current collector includes a conducting substrate with several through holes and an insulating layer. Insulating layer covers one surface of the conducting substrate and passes through the through holes to the other surface, covering the edges of through holes openings. This can effectively prevent deposition of lithium dendrites next to lumens of through holes on a conducting substrate. Also, due to the fact that negative layers of active material face each other, it is possible to effectively control plating places of lithium dendrites.
EFFECT: increased safety of battery operation and its service life.
