FIELD: electrothermics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrothermics, in particular, to production of flat electric heaters, which support various marine, including underwater devices in working condition. Method of producing resistive electric heaters includes making two insulating workpieces in form of plates made from rubber mixture, arrangement of fuel element between insulating layers and workpieces in mold and subsequent two-stage vulcanisation of assembled package. At the first stage, curing and pre-pressing of one plate is performed to make it a box shape, where the fuel element is placed, close it with the second plate and perform 3–5 stepped pressing, starting from pressure of 5 MPa, increasing pressure by 5 MPa each time, and at the end of pressing cycle, vulcanisation is performed for 30–35 minutes. Rubber mixture used contains the following, pts.wt.: combination of synthetic isoprene and butadiene rubber – 100.0, antioxidant – 1.0–3.0, zinc oxide (ZnO) – 10.0, vulcanisation system – 4.5–8.7, filler (technical carbon) – 30.0–50.0, composition of N,N-metaphenylenediamine and binding additives – 1.0–3.0, organic resin – 1.0–3.0.
EFFECT: invention allows improving reliability of sealing of a fuel element.
