FIELD: elastomer materials possessing low corrosion activity; manufacture of rubber shock absorbers working in contact with metals, tie plates, for example.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rubber shock absorber is made from polymer composition by hot molding method. Polymer composition contains combination of synthetic isoprene butadiene styrene rubber, sulfuric vulcanizing group, filler, plasticizing agents and chemical anti-agers. Prior to vulcanization stage, polyethylene film containing volatile corrosion inhibitor is laid on surface of non-vulcanized rubber blank. When brought in contact with metal, rubber shock absorber possesses lower corrosion activity.
EFFECT: reduced corrosion activity of rubber shock absorber.
