FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy. Furnace contains crucible for melting, made of electrically conducting material, preferably copper, and side shell in whole cylindrical shape of body of rotation around axis X and bottom, equipped with at least one plug-stopper. Side shell and bottom are divided into electrically insulated sectors parallel to axis X, one side inductor with at least one coil wound around external periphery of side shell, one bottom inductor with at least one coil wound around axis X opposite lower side of bottom with left free zone under plug-stopper, at least one magnetic flux concentrator, which is a ferromagnetic element, having at least one side wall and one bottom wall, located opposite the lower side and outer periphery of the bottom inductor.
EFFECT: invention can be used for melting of electroconductive material in furnace with cold crucible with heating by electromagnetic induction.
