FIELD: production technology.

SUBSTANCE: method of making a part of external design from non-conducting material by means of implementation or repetition of basic cycle: (10) base (1) is made in the form of substrate from non-conducting material, or from ceramics, or from glass, or from sapphire; (20) a first consumable protective metal layer (2) is applied thereon by a dry method; (30) decorative pattern (3) is engraved in depth, at least equal to local thickness of said first layer (2), by means of ultra-short pulses laser; (40) on decorative pattern (3) and second layer (4) of decorative metal or color processing is applied by dry method on remaining part of first layer (2); (50) each first layer (2) is chemically removed, – before or after chemical removal (50) of each first layer (2), mechanical alignment (55) of the obtained compound is made at the upper level of said base (1).

EFFECT: lining element or clock face made from non-conducting material is proposed.
