Method of chemical reaction, involving transfer of element or group X from one molecule to another in reactor with fixed layer, containing non-stoichiometric compound, which has formula MnXp(1-q), where n and p denote integers required for a stoichiometric connection between M and X, and 0 < q < 1 or 0 > q > -1, and which is capable of containing q values in the interval, and M can denote one element or mixture of more than one element, includes passing chemical particle P through a reactor, wherein particle P comes from a first position to a second position in a reactor, and extracting the obtained chemical compound PXy from a second position, then passing the chemical compound QXz through the reactor, wherein the QXz compound is supplied from the second position to the first position in the reactor, and extracting the obtained chemical compound from the first position, wherein P and Q are chemical particles which are selected such that both particles P and Q can receive an element or group X and both compounds PXy and QXz can give an element or group X, and y and z denote integers.

EFFECT: invention provides overcoming limitations, for example, restrictions associated with chemical equilibrium, which prevent the chemical processes of complete conversion of starting substances into products, as well as obtaining a stream of almost pure product and avoiding energy consumption.
