SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine and pharmaceutics and represents a method for prediction of the clinical effectiveness evaluation of dapoxetine for treating disorders accompanied by development of depressive symptoms, by results of genotyping using polymorphic markers of CYP2D6 genes, It differs from known methods in that it involves calculating the resultant change in the rate of biotransformation of dapoxetine, the results of which are used to recommend increasing or decreasing the dose of dapoxetine or replacing the drug.

EFFECT: technical result consists in optimizing the dosage regimen of dapoxetine in implementing the method according to the invention, which is based on analysis of results of genotyping by polymorphic markers, capable of influencing the change in activity of genes coding isoenzymes of biotransformation of dapoxetine.
