FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to control of contamination of ignition plug and cleaning of ignition plug before delivery of vehicle to dealer centre. Disclosed are methods and systems for detecting contamination of ignition plug and cleaning contaminated ignition plug at stage before vehicle delivery. In one of the examples in the method can update the spark plug contamination index stored in the vehicle non-volatile memory, based on the engine operating parameters, and to indicate contamination of ignition plug based on updated indicator. Method can additionally clean the contaminated spark plug by moving the vehicle along the planned route.
EFFECT: technical result is complete cleaning of ignition plug contaminated at stage before vehicle delivery.
