FIELD: antenna equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering and is intended for generation of required amplitude-phase distribution (APD) of field in opening of adaptive antenna array (AAA), distortion of which is caused by influence of climatic factors in form of snow or ice coating on elements of its structure. Method of compensating distortions of an APD field in an AAA opening is based on using an auxiliary antenna located in an intermediate region relative to the AAA and emitting a control signal in the range of its operating frequencies. Recorded complex amplitudes of the received signals at the output of each receiving module in the absence of a snow and ice coating are taken as reference and recorded in a read-only memory (ROM). Based on comparison of complex signal amplitudes at inputs of receiving modules recorded in the presence of snow or ice coating on AAA structure elements, with corresponding reference values of complex amplitudes, digital correcting codes are generated to compensate for distortions of the APD field in the AAA opening caused by the effect of climatic factors.

EFFECT: technical result is simplification of technical implementation and improvement of accuracy of compensation of distortions of APD field in AAA opening, caused by influence of climatic factors in form of snow or ice coating on elements of its structure.
