FIELD: motor vehicle industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to operation of electronic device (100) for preparation of compressed air for connection on one side with device (200) of air compressor, which is automatically switched by means of compressed air from device (100) for preparation of compressed air into idle mode, and on other side—with system (300) of compressed air. Compressed air preparation device (100) includes the feeding device (FE) connected to the air compressor device (200), the first valve (V1), the second valve (V2), the third valve (V3), and the fourth valve (V4). During transition from idling phase to feed phase, first valve (V1) and third valve (V3) are switched to closed state ("0"), and second valve (V2) is in open state ("1"), so that air from compressed air system (300) is directed through second valve (V2) and bypassing fourth valve (V4) back to feed device (FE). Besides, the invention relates to compressed air preparation device (100), which is configured to implement the operation method according to the invention. Second valve (V2) is switched to closed state ("0") if a predetermined time limit has expired and/or pressure in the system, preferably between second valve (V2) and compressed air system (300) falls below a predetermined pressure limit.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of operating compressed air preparation device for an industrial vehicle.
