SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detection of contaminants in fluid (1). Note here that contaminated fluid (2) is fed by first metering pump (3) to device (4) for measurement of contamination of density of particles in contaminated fluid. Proposed method consists in that fluid (2) contaminated with particles before feed to contamination measuring device (4) is mixed with clean fluid (5) at preset ratio. Then, density of particles or contamination of mixed fluid (6) are measured to define, with the help of computer (7), the density of particles or contamination of fluid (2).
EFFECT: possibility to define the fluid contamination level.
