FIELD: production of composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and equipment for making polymer composite parts and relates generally to cylinder systems used in hardening of composite parts. Proposed structure comprises multiple walls that make cavity of cylinder with initial size of cross-section. First plurality of wavy features, which are made at least along one of said plurality of walls forming cylinder. In one configuration, the first plurality of wavy features enables expansion of the structure from the initial cross-section size to the second cross-section size after inflating the structure during hardening of the composite workpiece, wherein the second cross-section dimension is greater than the initial cross-section dimension.
EFFECT: invention allows reducing or eliminating adverse consequences as a result of leaks in the cylinder or impossibility to create the required high pressure in the cylinder.
