SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of articles from composites. Claimed setting machine is used to this end and comprises the hollow mould and setting head arranged therein to set tape-like material on the mould inner surface. Note here that said hollow mould comprises at least three shell elements to displace between the first position whereat the shell elements inner surfaces tightly abut on each other and the second position whereat the inner surfaces of at least two shell elements are separated by a gap.
EFFECT: ruled out article surface damages at the mould cooling.
