Coated metal coating contains a coating formed on metal, which contains Si, P, O and at least one element selected from a group consisting of Mg, Ca, Ba, Sr, Zn, Al and Mn, wherein the coating comprises a compound having a NASICON-type crystal structure of general formula M^IM^IV₂(M^VO₄)₃, wherein M^I is at least one element selected from a group consisting of Li, Na, K, 1/2Mg, 1/2Ca, 1/2Sr and 1/4Zr, M^IV is at least one element selected from a group, consisting of Zr, Ge, Ti, Hf, Cr + Na, Nb – Na and Y + Na, and M^V is at least one element selected from a group consisting of P, As and Si + Na.
